Advertising on PR Viet
PR Viet is read by people who plan marketing for Vietnamese travellers: tourism boards, hotel groups, attractions, airlines and their agencies. Advertising spaces on the site are clearly labelled and kept apart from the editorial text. This page explains what we accept, what we do not, and how to send an enquiry.
Who reads PR Viet
The guide is written in English for organisations outside Vietnam that want to reach Vietnamese travellers, and for the agencies that serve them. Its pages cover the outbound market, Vietnamese media, visas, travel fairs, the advertising law and localisation. Advertisers who are useful to that audience include tourism boards and destination marketing organisations, travel trade events, travel technology and payment providers, translation and localisation services, and research firms.
We do not publish audience figures we cannot verify. If you need traffic data to plan a booking, ask for it in your enquiry and we will say what we can share.
What we offer
- Display spaces placed by the site's layout, labelled "Advertisement", separate from the article text.
- Placement on a section, such as the market or the rules section, where your offer fits the subject.
- Advertising for events relevant to the Vietnamese outbound market, such as trade fairs and roadshows.
We do not publish a rate card on the site. Terms depend on placement and period and are agreed in writing after an enquiry.
What we do not accept
- Sponsored articles presented as editorial, or changes to editorial pages in exchange for advertising.
- Advertising that imitates the look of PR Viet's editorial pages.
- Claims about visas, prices or legal requirements that cannot be supported by a source.
- Advertising for services that would breach Vietnamese advertising rules, such as unlabelled influencer content.
- Advertising for gambling, weapons or products restricted by Vietnamese law.
Advertising aimed at audiences in Vietnam must follow Vietnamese law, including the requirements on language and on identifying online advertising. The advertising law page summarises them.

What to prepare
- Creative in the sizes the site's layout uses; we send the specifications with our reply.
- A landing page that works on a phone and states clearly who the advertiser is.
- If the advertisement makes a factual claim, such as a visa change, a new route or an event date, the source for it.
- Your preferred period and any dates to avoid, such as the weeks before a fair you are promoting.
How advertising and editorial are kept apart
Editors decide what to cover and which sources to use without reference to advertisers. An advertiser cannot review, approve or change a page. If a page mentions an organisation that also advertises, the mention is there for an editorial reason and the advertisement stays in its labelled space. If you believe a page is wrong about your organisation, use the corrections process on the about page; it is open to everyone on the same terms.
