Write to the editors
The quickest way to reach the editors is the form on this page, or email to info@prviet.com. We read every message and reply by email when a message needs an answer.
How to reach us
Use the form below, or write to info@prviet.com. Both reach the same editors. The form asks for a subject, your name, your email and your message; the optional fields, such as your organisation and the market your message concerns, help us answer faster.
We do not publish a phone number or an office address. Replies come by email to the address you give.
What to write to us about
Corrections
Corrections are the messages we value most. Statistics are revised, laws are amended, fair dates are announced and platform rules change, and readers working in the market often see the change first. A useful report answers four questions:
- Which page, and which figure, date or sentence?
- What did you find instead?
- When did you find it?
- Where: a link to the official text, statistic or announcement.
Questions about a page
If something is unclear, ask. We can explain what a source says, how a figure was read, or why a page marks a fact as unconfirmed. If several readers ask the same question, the page needs rewriting, and we will do that.
Advertising enquiries
Choose "Advertising enquiry" as the subject. The advertising page explains what we accept. Advertising never affects the editorial pages.
What we cannot help with
- Introductions to Vietnamese PR agencies, media buyers, creators or tour operators. We do not broker or recommend them.
- Running campaigns, translating material or placing media. The guide does not sell services.
- Legal advice on a specific contract or campaign. Please consult a lawyer qualified in Vietnam.
- Visa applications. Contact the destination country's embassy or consulate.
If you are unsure whether a question fits, send it anyway. It tells us what readers need.
Before you write
Check the "last checked" date under the section you are writing about. If that date is recent and your information is older, the page may already reflect the change. If the source linked in the section now says something different from the page, that is exactly the report we want.
For statistics, the publishing office's own release is the final word, and a revised figure often appears months after the first one; tell us which release you are using. For laws and decrees, send the number and article, and the date of the consolidated text you read. For fair dates and platform rules, a link to the organiser's or the platform's own page is enough. Sources in Vietnamese are welcome; the editors read Vietnamese as well as English.
How replies work
If your message needs an answer, we reply by email. If it is a correction, we check it against a source before changing the page, which can take longer than a reply. Significant changes are recorded in the corrections log on the about page.
We do not publish your name or your message. A correction is credited to "a reader" unless you ask to be named. The privacy page explains what the form collects and how long it is kept.
Common questions
Questions readers ask
Can I phone the editors?
No phone number is published. Please use the form or email.
Can you introduce us to an agency in Vietnam?
No. PR Viet does not broker or recommend agencies. The briefing page lists questions to ask them.
Will you publish my name?
Not unless you ask. A correction is credited to "a reader" by default.
Can I send a source in Vietnamese?
Yes. Official Vietnamese texts and announcements are often the best source, and many pages on this site cite them.
How long does a correction take?
It depends on the source. A correction backed by an official text or statistic can be checked quickly; one that needs confirmation from a second source takes longer. The page shows the new check date once it is changed.
